) Apart from the already available Carbon High Racer with 12D top coating, we will also be offering a new coating with the finer 3K fabric.For this version an extra price of 250 euro (including VAT) will apply. All carbon parts, the main frame, telescopic piece, front fork and the seat, will then be in 3K. The detailed pictures show the current Carbon High Racer with 12D coating and with 50 mm high T-50 carbon rims, also manufactured by M5. | ||

) Never done before anywhere in the world: disc brake hub set (front) of less than 100 grammes. With just 99 grammes we now have the most lightweight disc brake hub in the world. Incidentally, also one of the most rigid hubs ever too, thanks to the large diameter of the hub housing. Furthermore we introduced a rather revolutionary disc placement: the six cut out, dirt collecting "lobes" are completely absent. The bearings have an extra seal by means of two rubber rings around the 15 mm hollow axles. This extra sealing provides an even longer lifespan of the bearings. For an extra price of just 50 euro (incl Vat) ceramic bearings vouch for an even longer lifespan. The silicon-nitride bearings pulvarize pretty much every they encounter! Like al our lightweight parts, the hubs are laser engraved with the M5 logo, and have been anodised black or red. For now only available in 32 hole version, no sooner than the end of August 2008.  The exposition "Fiets" ("Bicycle") shows the different aspects of the bicycle: means of transport, social phenomenon, recreative, lifestyle, sports, from bicycle caravan to comfortbike, from recumbent to the bicycle of the future. Participates in Shell Eco-Marathon 2008 with M5 Laminar | ||
 Triple-X from the Damstede College in Amsterdam has customized the M5 Laminar and will participate in the Shell Eco-Marathon 2008. Goal is to build the most energy efficient vehicle possible. The current record is 3836 km on 1 litre of fuel. The adjusted M5 Laminair is equipped with a small, super efficient motor. The marathon takes place from May 22 to May 24 2008.
