M5 Light weight rear hub
Another sample of "light and yet stiff": the M5 rear hub of 164 grammes. For now available with 24 holes, but other spoke numbers will follow shortly. This hub is also made from alu 7075-T6 and like the light weight crankset it's build with the FEM method. The axle is 15 mm in diameter and has quadruple bearings. The 78 mm flange width is no less than 40 percent wider than standard, which results in a much more stable wheel because of the bigger umbrella shape. Additional advantage is that the whole hub system has become more stiff because the left bearing is situated as close as possible the the left dropout. Combine the rear hub with our front hub from light weight materials. 16, 20 or 24 holes, Only in combination with straight pull spokes. Alu 7075-T6, 100 % black anodised of with aluminum/carbon hub cover, as shown on pictures. Assembling width: 100 mm. Flangewidth 82 mm, so extremely stable because of larger spoke angle. No limitation in bodu weight. Spectacular low in weight: 36 grammes at 16 hole hub, 39 grammes at 20 hole hub and 43 grammes at 24 hole hub. This is four to five times lighter than conventional hubs in the higher pricerange!

Straight pull versionJetzt sind sie endlich da: die leichte M5 Naben in schwarz eloxiertem 7075-T6 Aluminum, für 16, 20 oder 24 Speichen. Mit 16 Speichenlöchern wiegt die Nabe gerade mal 38 gr., die Version mit 20 Speichenlöchern wiegt 44 gr. Das ist mal gerade das Gewicht eines guten Schnellspanners!
